Meet the Docobo team:
Carlton, Project Manager
In this series, we will be meeting some of the Docobo team members and finding out more about their roles
Meet Carlton, he is one of our Project Managers, who joined the Docobo team in 2022
What do you typically do in a day in your role?
On a typical day, I will be managing projects that cover a range of ICBs in the Midlands. This could be relating to remote monitoring, for long term conditions and virtual wards and for out of hospital care. I regularly meet with our NHS colleagues, engage with digital programme teams and run training and engagement programmes. I also work on creating solutions and assets to support the work we are doing at Docobo – and I help with creating patient pathways. I’m currently working on a new post-falls pathway to support winter pressures
Tell us about an area of interest for you
I really enjoy working on interoperability and collaborating with other providers in order to enhance joined up healthcare and support the patient journey
What do you particularly enjoy about your role?
I love working with the other member of the Docobo team and collaborating with ICB digital teams to improve patient care is very rewarding
What do you find challenging about your role?
There are so many opportunities in remote monitoring – we are so busy! But that’s a good thing, as we are able to support more and more people in transforming out of hospital care
Are your colleagues supportive – if so, tell us more…
Yes – I work with a brilliant team: Geoff, Lazin, Thomas, Matt, and Alison – they are so supportive, knowledgeable, helpful and we have fun! Docobo is like working with your family – in a good way!!
