Meet the Docobo Team:
Caitlin, Service Manager
In this series, we will be meeting some of the Docobo team members and finding out more about their role.
Meet Caitlin, she is the Service Manager based in our Liverpool office. Caitlin joined our Docobo team in March 2019.
Hi Caitlin, can you tell us about your role at Docobo?
My main responsibility is managing the relationships between Docobo and the CCGs, hospitals, and community teams and clinicians. I’m also a line manager for the Liverpool team.
What do you typically do in a day at Docobo?
This can cover a range of different activities – mostly project related. I might be attending project meetings, building question sets, or carrying out training sessions with the NHS. I also work on different care plans with my colleague Shannon and on occasion might go out to visit patients to install kit and see how they are using the remote patient monitoring technology. Pre-pandemic, we were out doing face to face meetings much more, now it’s mostly Teams-based, but I’m sure this could change!
What do you particularly enjoy about your role?
I love starting a new project and seeing it through to when it goes live and seeing all the work it takes building up to something really great. I love meeting clients and NHS teams, and working with my wonderful colleagues, of course!
What do you find rewarding about Docobo technology?
I particularly love seeing how many people in their 70s, 80s and 90s learn how to use a tablet or device to monitor their health and wellbeing – how they come to find it useful and reassured in their own home. Having access to a clinician using technology is great – and also seeing them use technology so easily – if they had been asked before if they could use a smart phone, they would have said ‘no’.

Are your colleagues supportive?
Absolutely! Here in Liverpool, we’ve got a whole team – ops team, admin, customer/ patient support and technicians. We help each other out daily – and our team down in the Bookham office are brilliant too – with the development team and project team – we have regular meetings to where we discuss ideas and progress – everyone is so helpful and supportive.
What did you do before you joined Docobo?
I completed a Masters’ degree in Health Psychology – which had a main focus on long term conditions and changing patient behaviour to improve their health – which is really relevant and helpful to my current role. After I finished my degree, I worked at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and at Riverside Housing, where I was in the ‘life enhancing technologies’ team, which was all about telecare. That’s where I met the Docobo team, where I was booking patients for install and service calls with Docobo.
Has joining Docobo enhanced your career progression?
Absolutely it has! I started off doing patient support and bookings with Docobo, but my role has grown to so much more, I love it!
