Remote monitoring in care homes – maximising benefits for residents

    6th June 2024, 12:00 to 13:00

The last few years have seen a remarkable increase in the use of remote monitoring technology to monitor health conditions outside of hospital and an acceleration of the routine use of technology within care homes. A survey found that 73% of London care homes who were introduced to remote monitoring technology in 2021, had continued use months after implementation [1]. One home care tech provider announced that the number of digital tasks being used by their clients skyrocketed to 285% [2]. The successful use of remote monitoring technology in care homes has led to a reduction in waiting time for clinical access, avoidable GP visits to the homes, as well as providing vital information for clinical decision making, upskilling staff, improving CQC ratings for the care home and ultimately enhancing outcomes for the residents.

Join us on our webinar remote monitoring in care homes – maximising benefits for residents to hear from Carol Judd-Winn – Lead nurse for care homes at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust, and Kailash Khanal – Registered care manager at Beech House, Binfield (part of Haven Care Management Group). Carol and Kailash will share their insights of the benefits of technology-enabled care within the care home sector.
