First Line Technical Support Engineer

Salary:   £20,000 – £27,500 per annum (depending on experience)

We lead the market with an array of exciting, cutting-edge solutions dedicated to delivering digital Healthcare specifically remote patient monitoring and telehealth. Due to industry growth, we now have a requirement for a self-driven and highly motivated person to come in and build on their expertise in the technical support sector and complement the existing IT support team.

Role Info:

1st Line Technical Support Engineer – Digital Healthcare Products Leader

The 1st Line Technical Support Role:

  • Be the first point of contact for anyone in the team seeking technical assistance
  • Responsible for handling support of requests which relate to all technology including; workstations, servers, printers, networks, and system accounts
  • Managing the day to day operation of the varying backup solutions in place
  • Provide remote and telephone support for client networks and applications

Key skills required:

  • Windows 7,8 & 10 Administration & Support
  • Active Directory Administration, new user setups (User Accounts, MS365 Mailboxes)
  • Basic Networking knowledge covering Local Area Networks, Switches & VLan’s
  • Understand cabling needs for IT/Telephone System
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new applications and technologies
  • Able to install, configure, upgrade and relocate PC hardware, software and print devices
  • Experience of Windows 7, 8, 10, Office 2016 problem solving
  • Experience of PC hardware troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Microsoft 365 experience is an advantage
  • Any qualifications such as MCSE, MCSA, MCITP or CCNA would be highly beneficial towards your application
