Docobo shortlisted in ‘Technology Provider of the year’ category in Health Investor 2022 Awards.
Docobo, the remote patient monitoring experts, have been shortlisted in the prestigious Health Investor Awards within the ‘Technology Provider of the Year’ category. The winners will be announced at an award ceremony at Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 8th June 2022.
Docobo has been deploying and expanding the use of its remote monitoring solution DOC@HOME to care homes, patients’ homes and acute hospitals across England, receiving excellent feedback from users and demonstrating real impact by saving time for both GPs and care home staff. This is the second award shortlisting for Docobo in 2022. The company – which celebrated 20 years in the industry in 2021 – were also recognised in the ‘Excellence in Remote Monitoring’ category at the HTN Now Awards in January.
Docobo’s digital remote patient management system DOC@HOME enables clinicians and carers to deliver better care, helps patients to be more aware of their conditions and improves self-management. It allows care home teams to record residents’ observations and symptoms, using a tablet or CAREPORTAL® and a structured set of questions, designed specifically for residential care. When a resident starts to become unwell, instead of contacting their GP surgery, the care home staff use DOC@HOME® to record observations which are then electronically transmitted to a secure clinical database ready for clinical triage to ensure the right intervention and support is provided to residents.
”We are so thrilled to be recognised in the Health Investor awards for our work enhancing care for residents and patients, using remote monitoring to transform out of hospital care.’
